5th Jornada Industria Textil y Sostenibilidad

Last November 11th, 2022 OliWasTex participated in the 5th Jornada Industria Textil y Sostenibilidad organized by INTEXTER-UPC.

The project was presented as part of the talk "Nuevas Oportunidades: residuos agricolas como potencial materia prima para la industria textil". 

At the event, issues such as eco-design were discussed by Miguel Sanchez of Technology Leader of Kingpins Show, challenges on recycled polyester fibers by Hector del Arco of UNIFI-REPREVE, recycling strategies for work clothes recycling by Celina Tamagnini of Circoolar, the paradigm of traceability and circularity by Pepe Costa of RETEXCYCLE and sustainability trends that could be seen at the Techtextil 2022 fair in Frankfurt by Marta Casadesús from AEI Tèxtils and Heura Ventura and Marta Riba from INTEXTER.
